The main purpose of retrofitting studies is to improve the quality of school buildings and essential public buildings to the new and safe construction level by taking into consideration the building code fire and safety standarts.
In order to minimize loss of life and property losses in future earthquakes, constructing new buildings according to related rules and instructions and reconstructuring or retrofitting our unsafe buildings have significant importance.
